Grief Encounter is a charity which relies solely on the generosity of our donors. Your support enables bereaved children and young people to find hope and healing after the death of someone close.

Grief Encounter welcomes corporate partnerships that make a real impact. Align your business with a meaningful cause and improve the lives of grieving children and families. Our corporate giving programmes provide unique opportunities for your organisation to give back and create a hopeful future for those in need.

How we can work with your organisation:

  • Charity of the Year Partnership
  • Event sponsorship
  • Bespoke events and challenges
  • Team support and training
  • Brand association and profit share

As a corporate partner, you can enable us to plan with increased confidence.

Please do get in touch or call to speak with one of our expert fundraisers today. They are brimming with ideas and would love to chat with you about the exciting ways your company can make a huge impact on the work we do with bereaved children and their families.

Sarasin & Partners

Sarasin & Partners

Sarasin & Partners, a large investment firm, selected Grief Encounter as a charity partner at the start of 2022. With the support of our fundraising team, they have completed a wealth of fundraising activities, including the Forget-Me-Not Walk, our Go Karting Endurance Race two years running, ran marathons, organised a raffle at their annual summer party, hosted several bake sales and after work drinks, and plan to do the Three Peaks Challenge in July – all in aid of Grief Encounter. The firm also match funds all the employees’ hard work and gives them the time they need to pursue their fundraising.

To date, they have raised over £45,000 with more to follow!

“We absolutely love working with Grief Encounter and it has given us enormous pleasure knowing that our fundraising efforts are having a meaningful impact on the lives of bereaved children, young people and wider families. We have been delighted to support the charity both individually and at a firm level, and it continues to be a very rewarding partnership in every way possible.”

The CSHA has supported Grief Encounter since 2018, from taking part in the Forget Me Not Walk, to hosting Gala Dinners to raise vital funds for Grief Encounter. Their ongoing support has enabled bereaved children, young people and their families to access professional bereavement counselling and the support they need after the death of someone close.  We are so grateful.

Vice President Stephen Harrison said “once I saw the most amazing work that Grief Encounter were doing, the support and help they give to bereaved families and the absolute dedication of the Grief Encounter team, I knew this was a charity that deserved and needs all the support we can afford them.”

CHSA will hold their gala dinner in May in aid of Grief Encounter. Find out more about the event here.

Chaucer Group

Chaucer Group

Grief Encounter was selected and voted in as one of our charity partners this year because of the incredible work they do for bereaved children and families. Both mental health and children’s charities are of particular interest to us especially after Covid and the devastating impact it had. We have supported them in a number of ways from our internal events, running half marathons and even selling their wristbands in reception.

We are very proud of our support of Grief Encounter who make such a difference to the lives of the children and young people they support, those who have experienced the death of someone close.

Saroj

“My son was facing depression and he decided to end his life. He texted me in the afternoon, I was out, the words he said is ‘mum I am ending my life, I am so sorry, I am just so sorry’. I felt that I needed something for myself and my daughter and that is where Grief Encounter stepped in. My daughter made friends with other grief children and they understand what she’s actually going through.”
