When we experience the death of someone close, we will move through lots of different feelings and emotions. The important thing to know is that, even though it feels hard, it’s okay, and things will change as time goes on.
If it feels like things aren’t getting any easier and you’re stuck, we’re here to help. Grief Encounter has trained and experienced therapists who can chat with you one-to-one and give you a safe space to talk, without anyone judging you. If you don’t want to talk, but maybe feel better creating, painting, writing or even singing, we can help with that too. Whatever way you want to express yourself, we will be here to help you move through the tough parts of grief.
We also have group sessions too, which is a chance to meet other young people your age who’ve been through something similar. Even though everyone’s story is different, meeting others who understand what you’re going through can make you feel less alone. It’s a safe space where you can share and listen to others who are also dealing with grief.
