We can offer you one-to-one therapy at schools, online or at our premises in North London and Bristol.

  • Our approach for young ones is gentle and child led with play, art and drama
  • Therapy for parents is an important part of our whole family ethos
  • Our young people can find something that works for them with several online options or face to face
  • Therapy for children and young people is free of charge
  • Contributions for adult counselling, where affordable, is gratefully received
  • All of our therapists are qualified or on accredited training courses
  • You can refer a child or young person for therapy by filling in our online form

We know that entering therapy can be daunting. We will offer support, when the time is right, to help make sense of the complex emotions following the death of someone special.

“I lost my son 2 years ago, he was facing depression and he decided to end his life, he texted me in the afternoon, I was out, the words he said is ‘mum I am ending my life, I am so sorry, I am just so sorry.’ I felt that I needed something for myself and my daughter and that is where Grief Encounter stepped in. My daughter made friends with other grief children and they understand what she’s actually going through.”
