Volunteers are a highly valued part of Grief Encounter; we could not achieve the things we do without the dedicated support of our volunteer team.
Volunteers enable us to go above and beyond, both in the office and at our events. By working with Grief Encounter you will make a real difference to the lives of bereaved children. There is also the opportunity for you to learn new skills, improve your CV, build self-confidence and meet new people. Not to mention having lots of fun at the same time!

Why Volunteer For Us?
An astonishing 1 in 29 children in the UK under 16 years old will suffer the death of a parent. We provide a free service, without any government funding, relying solely on donations to keep supporting bereaved children. You can help this overwhelming, and growing, number of young people by lending a hand in one of the following ways:
In The Office
We are constantly on the lookout for volunteers to come into our offices to support our day to day staff with a wide range of administrative tasks. If you have a few hours to spare on a regular basis then we would love to hear from you!
At Our Events
We simply could not run the huge range of events we do without the energy and enthusiasm of our volunteers. If you would like to be part of a team helping at our numerous fundraising events held throughout the year then get in touch right away!
