Grief Encounter retreat

retreats

Every year we offer a residential retreat, one night away from it all where we enjoy exciting outbound activities as well as therapeutic groups. The residential is a way for families to enjoy the outdoors, meet other families and spend time together.

  • Meet other bereaved families
  • Join a variety of therapeutically themed, or fun, social activities
  • Talk with Grief Encounter staff and volunteers
  • Children and adolescents can take part in a wide range of creative and outdoor activities
  • Support other parents and carers through friendship and peer-support

The retreat is intended as a break from everyday routines and you are free to be as involved as you feel comfortable with whilst we take care of accommodation, food and travel.
