Claire was a guests of Vanessa’s, as part of a dedicated week discussing bereavement. The Radio 2 show explored the impact of losing a parent while you’re a child or young person, looking at how bereavement stays with you throughout life.

Claire experienced the death of her mother at a very young age, hear she talks openly about her experiences, offering guidance and telling Vanessa about the work of Grief Encounter, that she describes as a ‘life line’ for bereaved children and young people.
