We’re thrilled you have chosen to take steps to honour the memory of someone special. As part of your fundraising journey, you’ll soon receive a welcome pack, which includes:

• Our signature purple Grief Encounter beanie;
• Memory sticker(s) to personalise and dedicate to someone special;
• Information on how you can raise funds to honour their memory;

You’re almost ready to begin your Forget-Me-Not Walk adventure! Simply click here and hit the big orange ‘Start Fundraising’ button to create your personalised JustGiving fundraising page.

Here’s how to set yourself up for fundraising success:

1. Make Your Page Personal
   Add a profile picture to your page and share an update explaining why you’re walking and who you’re honouring. This personal touch will inspire others to support your cause.
2. Be Your First Supporter
   Kick off your fundraising by making your own donation. Not only will this help you get closer to your goal, but it will also inspire your friends and family to contribute!
3. Start Sharing!
   Now that your page is ready, it’s time to spread the word! Share the link across your social media, send it via WhatsApp, and follow up with friends and family by email. The more you share, the more support you’ll gather—and the more funds you’ll raise.

We’ll be sending you regular updates, along with helpful tips and resources. Please allow up to two weeks for your welcome pack to arrive.
