Grief Encounter is thrilled to have been awarded funding from BBC Children in Need. The three-year grant of £29,541 will be used to provide 1-1 counselling sessions and a residential trip for bereaved children, young people and their families. The funding will also help us to deliver a range of activities to support and improve young people’s physical health, reduce isolation and help manage their overall wellbeing.
Speaking of the new grant, Grief Encounter Trusts and Grants Managert, Kuljeet de Souza, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to receive funding from BBC Children in Need. Funding means we can continue to provide a space where young people can feel at ease and support their mental health while having fun and building positive relationships.”
