On Sunday 1st August, a team of incredible fundraisers took on the infamous 13.1 mile London Landmarks Half Marathon, raising money for Grief Encounter. The team, including patron Jeff Brazier and his son, Bobby Brazier, who ran the race in memory of Jade Goody, had a fantastic day, with their total donations exceeding £12,000.
“The charity has been really helpful to my brother and I after we lost our mum, and I want to help them do the same for other bereaved children,” said Bobby. Jeff also commented: “I’m running the London Landmarks Half for Grief Encounter who have always guided my family through our loss.”
A huge thanks to all of the team who chose to take on the challenge and represent Grief Encounter, we couldn’t do what we do without you.
