More Zoooooom – Less Zoom…
Grief Encounter put the Fun in Fundraising. For the first time, we took 17 teams to Rye House Karting, the very same track that Lewis Hamilton trained on, for an amazing day out Go Karting, to raise vital funds for Grief Encounter.

The weather was fair; The Karts were fast; and the people were FABULOUS.

With huge thanks to our sponsor, who covered all of the costs of the event, and the kind people who generously donated their time to help us, the event raised a staggering £23,018. This will go directly toward the work we do with bereaved children, young people and their families.

To give you a tangible idea of the impact of funds raised, this could fund 460 one to one, professional counselling sessions, enabling bereaved children to learn to live again following the death of their mum, dad or sibling.

Looking ahead, with capacity to have 130 people across 26 teams, if you want to know more about how you can join us next pls contact Vicky in our fundraising team.
