New place, new challenge, new adventure!
Immerse yourself in the stunning nature of Slovenia with Grief Encounter’s bespoke Slovenia trek. This mental and physical challenge will involve trekking up to 20 miles a day for 3 days up Slovenia’s largest peaks including Mount Vista. This trek is like no other, as alongside the physical challenge, we come together for wellness and remembrance, marking 20 years since Grief Encounter was founded. With cold water plunges in Lake Bled itself, fitness/wellness classes & memory moments to remember loved ones during the challenge, you will finish this challenge feeling empowered.
This challenge is open to everyone of various abilities with guides and a support team on hand all the way. There are mixed terrain and ascents making it a challenge, but very achievable to everyone with the necessary training. Once back from each day’s trek, you’ll have plenty of time to rest, walk some more, or explore the multitude of sights and experiences that Slovenia has to offer. You will be staying by the beautiful Lake Bled! You will receive training guides and top tips along the way, an invite to our training morning with special guests, and a Grief Encounter top for the challenge.
Trek Slovenia is a time when we come together to make memories and share memories of someone close who has died, while raising funds to support bereaved children, young people, and their families find hope and healing. We hope you can join us to make a life-long memory.

There is a registration fee of £300 and a fundraising target of £2400 or pay the full cost of £1100 and fundraise £800.
