Take Part In A Challenge in 2020

Would you like to take part in a challenge or event to help us raise vital funds and awareness for bereaved children in the UK?

Let us inspire you with some suggestions for making 2020 the year you cross off bucket-list opportunities including climbing Ben Nevis, getting muddy for money and trekking through tricky terrain; all while supporting Grief Encounter.

This year, around 24,000 parents will die, leaving dependent children. That equates to a staggering 1 child in every classroom who will experience bereavement before they reach 16 years of age.

You can help. Our incredible supporters run marathons, trek across mountains and jump out of planes to raise money for Grief Encounter. Join them, and help the families we support receive the best care following the death of a parent or sibling. Just £35 pays for one hour of 1-2-1 professional counselling from a Grief Encounter therapist. Imagine how much you could help by undertaking one of our incredible challenges, fundraising to enable us to reach even more children who need our help, now. Click on the links below, or email us at challenges@griefencounter.org.uk to sign up or find out more.
